Grilled Garlic Shrimp Grilled Garlic Shrimp 24 6 lb. Large shrimp, 21-25 ct., peeled, Portico Bounty To taste Sysco Classic salt, McCormick black pepper 2 cups Sysco Natural mixed fresh herbs (basil, tarragon and oregano) 2 tsp. Shallots, minced 1-1/2 tsp. Sysco Natural garlic, minced 3/4 cup Sysco Supreme Extra-Virgin olive oil 1. Season shrimp with salt and pepper in bowl. Add herbs, shallots and garlic. Marinate in refrigerator at least 1 hour.
2. Brush grill pan or sheet pan with oil as needed. Grill marinated shrimp over high heat on grill pan or in hot oven on sheet pan until cooked, about 1 minute.
3. Portion 4 ounces shrimp for each serving.
4. NOTE: Pair the zesty shrimp with equally zesty garlic mashed potatoes. Just wash peeled, cubed, boiled potatoes. Then whip with heavy cream and butter. Add minced garlic, salt and pepper and mix.
