Mediterranean Sandwich Courtesy Of: Sysco Corporation Mediterranean Sandwich 8 lbs. Sysco Supreme Angus ground beef chuck 11/3 cups Vermouth 1 cup Sysco Natural fresh basil, lightly packed, minced 1 cup Sysco Imperial minced red onion 11/3 cups Fresh Italian breadcrumbs 32 - 40 Sun-dried tomatoes, in olive oil, drained, finely minced 2 Tbsp. 2 tsp Garlic salt 1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Divide into six portions and shape into patties.
2. Brush grill with vegetable oil. Cook 5 to 8 minutes (or to desired doneness) on each side.
3. Serve on large seeded sandwich rolls, and top with red onion slices and basil sprigs, if desired.
