Turkey Chili Nachos Courtesy Of: The Ontario Turkey Producers Turkey Chili Nachos Serves 6 15 mL or 1Tbsp Oil 500 g or 1 lb Ground turkey 1 Medium onion, chopped 1 Clove garlic, minced 5 mL or 1 tsp Dried oregano 2 mL or 1/2 tsp Chili powder 2 mL or 1/2 tsp Cumin to taste Salt and pepper 250 mL or 1 cup Cooked black beans 200 mL or 8 oz Tomato sauce 320 g or 12 oz White corn tortilla chips 1/2 Red sweet pepper, diced 1/2 Green sweet pepper, diced 1 Jalapeno pepper, minced 125 mL or 1/2 cup Black olives 500 mL or 2 cups Casa Solana Monterey Shredded Cheese 50 mL or 1/4 cup Guacamole 50 mL or 1/4 cup Sour cream In large skillet over medium-high heat; heat oil. Stir in turkey, breaking up with spoon; until no longer pink. Stir in onion, garlic, oregano, chili powder and cumin; cook until onion is soft.

Season with salt and pepper. Stir in black beans and tomato sauce; simmer until heated through. Place corn tortillas onto large baking sheet, spoon turkey chili over top. Sprinkle with peppers and olives. Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake at 425 degrees F (220 Degrees C) for about 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve with guacamole and sour cream.
