Hot Apple & Ginger Snap Pudding Courtesy Of: Sysco Grocery Hot Apple & Ginger Snap Pudding Serves 15 3 L or 12 cups Sliced apples 500 mL or 2 cups Unsweetened applesauce 500 mL or 2 cups Sour cream 125 mL or 1/2 cup Honey 30 mL or 2 Tbsp Allspice 2 mL or 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon Pan coating Butter 96 pieces Ginger snaps Break ginger snaps into small pieces. Mix honey, applesauce, allspice and sour cream together. Arrange 3/4 cup apples in the bottom of a non-stick treated round 8 oz (200 g) souffle dish. Add one Tbsp (15 mL) of the applesauce mixture, and cover with 1/2 cup (125 mL) ginger snap pieces.

Cover with 1/4 cup (75 mL) apples and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover with buttered foil and bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 20 minutes. Remove foil, bake 5 minutes longer and serve with Amaretto sauce or Ice Cream.
