Honey Almond Squares Courtesy Of: QTG (Quaker Tropicana Gatorade) Honey Almond Squares 24 squares Base 1 1/2 cups Unsifted all purpose flour 1/4 cup Firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup Soft butter or margarine Topping 1 cup Liquid honey 1 cup Quaker Harvest Crunch Cereal, Original Blend 2/3 cup Firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup Chopped almonds 2 Eggs, beaten 2 Tbsp Flour For base, stir together flour and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
Press mixture onto bottom of ungreased 9" x 13" x 12" baking pan.
Bake in preheated 180 C (350 F) oven 15 minutes.

For topping, combine honey and sugar in small saucepan. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Slowly pour over beaten eggs, stirring constantly. Combine Harvest Crunch almonds and flour. Stir into honey mixture.
Pour additional 20 to 25 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into squares to serve.
